Like the title says, it's Self Injury Awareness day. Seems like I've had a lot of thinking to do about this subject lately, whether I like it or not. That's the problem with things like SI...It always seems to rear its ugly head at the least convenient times. Just a lil PSA...if you know someone who self harms, please just try to help. Just listen, do whatever they ask you to do for help. Don't laugh at them, don't get angry, don't call them stupid or selfish. People like that are in a lot of pain and may still be after they stop self injuring. Be there for them.

On a semi-related note, I've discovered a new musical favorite of mine who also seemed to coincide with my new...confrontations with topics of self inflicted....stuff. Corinna Fugate has the voice (and the face) of an angel, no joke. It's a little emo, but it sounds good and it gets stuck in your head (in a good way). Look her up on myspace!

And Finally, I'll be posting some logo designs here soon I did for my school's production of Beauty and the Beast. Soon I'll have prop designs and eventually I'll have photos of me in costume. I'm Cogsworth! I'm totally psyched, I've never had a part this big before. All for now I guess...the most important part of this journal was the 1st paragraph. If you read this far, just take another moment and read that 1st paragraph again.

4.i love making comics books and myths into scientific plausibility (i made a blueprint of a goblin glider from spiderman in middle school..with my own functional modifications of course)
5.i think humans are evolutionarily pathetic and that to a minor degree mutants that could be classified as homo superior do exist

X-3 pwned....pure n simple...cant say too much for fear of spoilers, but it was good and they used that line!! too many people dyin tho and thats all im gonna say (ok, one more thing: yay fastball special!)>_<  really made me think tho...about what scum mankind really is. SPOILER ALERT from the 1st 2 minutes: seeing a little boy with bloody stumps on his back where beautiful wings used to be apologizing to his father just tears me up...that the little boy is apologizing not for hurting himself but apologizing for the wings themselves. what kind of bigoted cruelty is inbred in our genes and minds? driving a little boy, a blessed mutant, to hack and grind away at his own wings, reducing them to lumps of bloody, raw flesh...disgusting. and creating a "CURE" for general mutancy? thats like finding a cure for homosexuality or having black skin: its rediculous. (sp?).

i have had so many ideas for mutants based offa my classmates now tho (welcome to mutant high). life is confusing as hell and exams comin up arent helping any. how on earth did we get trapped in a society that allows ur entire future to be determined by one 4 digit number? thats right, im talkin SAT, scheduled the same day as out graduation and the day AFTER 2 graduation parties and 1 birthday party for dear friends. the parties arent such a big deal but graduation is. wat possessed em to plan it for the same day as sat is beyond me.

ok, im finally gettin rid of the halloween entry. WAAAAY overdue. so i guess high point o me life lately has been goin to the circus friday and seein chuck wagner...theres somewhere i never thought id be, sitting at a chilis after a circus across the table from chuck wagner...that guys so cool. ummm....lifes still confusing as hell so i guess im just winging it here...
